At 13:30hrs, we will meet at No 7 Dinh Tien Hoang, the North-shore of Hoan Kiem Lake where we’ll start our lovely walk into the Old Quarter of Hanoi. These streets were named in honor of the tradesmen who worked them such as Tin Street and Silk Street among others. From here we will proceed to the Historic House on Ma May Street. Built at the end of the 19th century and restored in 1999, this House was and still is used to preserve the ancient architecture and artifacts of Hanoians.
The French rulers of the past made their presence felt in this region when they built the iconic St. Joseph’s Cathedral in 1887 and it is here that we will stop by shortly as we head to a nice restaurant overlooking Kiem Lake for the traditionally rich Vietnamese coffee to cap off a wonderful experience!
