Description

This tour follows the rough alignment of the “Tank Stream” which originally provided fresh water and all kinds of food for the Aboriginal people, the Gadigal, prior to British colonisation. When the British arrived they saw the importance of it and took it for their own. It is now represented by a blue line painted on the ground that runs through the city.

This tour starts in The Rocks, where it all began, and follows the meandering blue line to Hyde Park, retracing the steps that saw a small stream become the life source for a new colony. By the time you conclude your tour you’ll be expertly equipped to get the most out of your stay in Sydney.
